Precision Ink was started by Tat2Mike in August of 2010 and has been Southeastern Louisiana’s premier tattoo and body piercing studio, armed with a love for tattoos and body art, Precision Ink has been a staple in the tattoo industry in Louisiana.

At our studio the only thing that matters is the quality of the art. We set ourselves apart from the rest by hiring only the most skilled and trusted artist. We get a lot of phone calls and emails about general tattoo and piercing inquiries, so feel free to contact us at 985-785-0100 with any questions. Here’s a few that we hear the most:

Tattoo care

How do I keep my new tattoo looking great for years?

Your tattoo takes 2-4 weeks to heal. During this time, gently wash the tattoo every night and apply lotion to keep the skin soft. We recommend wrapping with plastic for the first few nights.

Piercing care

Do you do specific piercings/ magnets/ scarification/ branding?

At Precision Ink, any piercing is fair game. Drop by our Boutte studio and we’ll talk face to face about your body work and whether we’re able to do it.

How to prep for a Tattoo

What should I do before coming in for a tattoo?

Eat. No, seriously – your body will be releasing endorphins during the tattoo process, so you want to have stable blood sugar. Also, avoid any alcohol, aspirin, or caffeine before being tattooed.
